1. About Island Living
Island Living is an independent community information and promotional platform sharing local news, businesses, events, activities and lifestyle content across Saadiyat Island and Abu Dhabi.
2. Content Submissions
By submitting information, images, videos, advertisements or event details, contributors confirm that they have the necessary rights, permissions and approvals to share the material.
3. Permission to Publish
Contributors grant Island Living and NUS NUS SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT, its operator, a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to edit, format, reproduce and publish submitted materials on its website, social media accounts and community channels for the purpose of promoting their submission. Contributors retain ownership of their original content.
4. Removal of Content
Contributors can ask for their content to be removed at any time by writing to privacy@islandliving.ae. Island Living will remove it from its website and channels within a reasonable time. Materials that have already been shared, forwarded or downloaded, for example in WhatsApp communities or by other users, may not always be retractable.
5. Accuracy and Responsibility
Contributors are responsible for ensuring that submitted information is accurate, current, lawful and not misleading. Island Living may edit, reject or remove submissions at its discretion.
6. Third-Party Businesses and Events
Island Living does not organise, operate, endorse or guarantee third-party businesses, services or events unless expressly stated. Enquiries, bookings, payments and participation are subject to the relevant provider's terms.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable UAE law, Island Living is not responsible for losses, cancellations, changes, inaccurate third-party information or disputes arising from dealings with independent providers. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Privacy
Personal information submitted through the website will be handled according to the Island Living Privacy Policy.
9. Changes
Island Living may update these Terms & Conditions, with the latest version displayed on the website.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates and Abu Dhabi.
